Description | Supply and install new concrete wet well and valve vault, install Owner-furnished submersible pumps, supply and install piping to connect to existing gravity and pressure sewer, dismantle and remove existing wet well and pump pit, restore site fencing and surfaces.West Lake Pump Station - Reconfigure existing concrete wet well for use as submersible pump station, dismantle and demolish existing pump pit and equipment, supply and install new concrete valve vault, install Owner-furnished submersible pumps, supply and install piping to connect to existing gravity and pressure sewer, restore site fencing and surfaces. Addenda, if any, will be issued to only those persons or companies who have purchased a full set of Contract Documents. Bidders may mail their Bid Forms to us in time for the bid opening or they can place them in the drop box by the mailbox in front of the Municipal Building. Each bid must be submitted on the bid form provided in the bidding documents and accompanied by a bid guarantee in the form of a certified or cashier's check or bid bond with corporate surety payable to Millcreek Township in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the bid price. Bidders are advised that this Project is subject to the Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry Prevailing Wage Rate Determinations. The Wage Rate Determinations provided by the Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry are included in the Contract Documents. Bids shall remain open and valid for a period of 60 days from the date of opening unless award is delayed by a required approval from a governmental agency, the sale of bonds, or the award of a grant or grants, in which event the Bids shall remain open for a period of 120 days from the Bid opening. Bids may not be withdrawn during this period. The Township reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding. |
