Description

The Owner intends to award Contracts on or about February 27th, 2023. Bid Security in the amount of five percent (5%) of Base Bid(s) shall accompany each Proposal (refer to Section 00 4313) All Contractors bidding on Work in excess of $50,000.00 must be bondable and must include in their Proposal the cost for furnishing a Performance Bond and Payment Bond listing Comstock Public Schools as Obligee (refer to Section 00 6100). CONTRACTOR QUALIFICATION STATEMENT: A current Contractor Qualification Statement must be on file with Miller-Davis Company before award of a Contract (refer to Specification Section 00 4513). BIDDERS REQUEST FOR INFORMATION: Submission cut off is 12:00pm February 1, 2023. (refer to Section 00 4300). All Bids must remain valid for acceptance by the Owner for a period of sixty (60) calendar days after the Date of the Bid opening. The Owner shall not award to a Bidder that does not furnish a sworn and notarized Familial Statement of Disclosure (refer to Section 00 4318) and an Iran Economic Sanctions Certification (refer to Section 00 4320). The Owner expressly reserves the right, within the Owner's sole discretion and in compliance with applicable laws, to reject any or all Bids, to accept any Bid, to waive any irregularities or informalities, to withhold the award for any reason the Owner determines, and/or to take any other appropriate action.
