Description | The project consists of the restoration of approximately 366 linear feet of an unnamed tributary of TIAWASEE Creek located north of the intersection of Park Drive and Pollard Road in Daphne, Alabma. The project extends from an upstream settling basin to a section of stable, restored stream on the project reach. In addition, the project will include clearing and grubbing, excavating, grading, installing instream and floodplain rock and log structures, implementing erosion control measures, and landscaping. Instream structures include rock cross vanes, threshold riffles, and rock drop structures, and threshold riffles. Floodplain structures include rock and log stabilization sills. Erosion control includes pump around, mulch, temporary seed, erosion control blankets, and coconut coir matting. Landscaping includes installation of permanent seed, plugs, live stakes, shrubs, and trees. |
