Lavon Lake Herbicide

Contractor shall provide all labor, permits, tools, equipment, materials, and chemicals required to mix, transport, and apply herbicides and pesticides as specified in this contract. Services include spraying/applying herbicides and pesticides and shall be performed as specified, to the limits shown, on individual Letter of Instructions and project maps (See Section 1.9.3 Technical Exhibit 3), as directed. In general, herbicide and pesticide services shall be applied at various locations throughout the government property boundaries surrounding the locations identified below (including, but not limited to flood control prime facilities/dam embankments and recreation/park facilities). The Contractor shall possess a valid State of Texas Commercial Applicator’s License and shall comply with the conditions specified in the sub-paragraph 3-3e and 3-4 in ER 1130-2-540. A copy of the Contractor’s Applicator License must be provided to the Contracting Officer (KO) before an award will be made. The Contractor shall ensure that a certified applicator is on the job at all times to supervise all contract operations. The Contractor shall give, in writing, any such supervisor authority to act in his/her behalf. Anytime the Contractor, or the designated supervisor, are supervising work, they shall have in their possession a copy of this contract and a copy of their individual Commercial Applicator’s License.
