Description

Contractor shall fill the ditch portion highlighted in green identified in Figure 3. Based on the total budget, the priority for filling the ditches will be the east-west ditches labelled B, D, and E, and then the north-south ditches A, C, and E. Ditches total approximately 7,768 linear feet. A residual conveyance shall remain at each ditch location in the form of a v-swale with a minimum depth of six inches and a minimum top width twelve feet. The finished swales with an east-west alignment will have a positive, preferably uniform, slope toward the wetlands on the eastern portion of the property. Finished swales with a north-south alignment shall have a positive, preferably uniform, slope toward the receiving east-west swales, pursuant to the issued FDEP General Permit. All areas will be sodded for stabilization upon completion and an As-Built provided to show the final work completed.
