Description | Perform pre-construction meeting to discuss project set up, staging area for equipment and material loading, appropriate works hours, safety and production schedule and projections. Provide all permitting, safety and inspections needed to safely perform the following scope of work. Remove all existing perimeter edge, wall and metal flashings and dispose of them properly. Remove existing roofing system down to the existing concrete deck. Remove all debris from the property. Supply and install 60-mil Fleece-Back TOP to the clean and prepped roof per local, state and manufacturers code and specifications. All seams and laps will be field welded utilizing a robotic hot air welder to meet manufacturer’s specifications. Supply and install new TOP split pipe boots and new pitch pans. All vertical flashings and wall flashings will be fully adhered to new ½” plywood substrate utilizing GAF bonding adhesives. Fabricate and install new 24-guage prefinished galvanized perimeter coping cap, and metal edge with a continuous metal cleat. Fabricate and install new 24-guage prefinished galvanized counter flashings. Fabricate and install new goosenecks with TPO coated metal Install new 24-guage pitch pans (provided). Install one-part pourable sealer in the new pitch pans as a permanent seal. Provide and install protective pads at base of roof hatch and service panels on mechanical units. Prep and coat deteriorated roof hatches with rust inhibitor coating. Clean the area up free from debris and dispose of all materials off site. An infrared moisture scan will be completed by third party to detect any moisture in existing roof system. Any wet will be replaced as noted in line 3 above. Existing lightening protection will be removed and reinstalled by certified third party to meet UL 96A standards. |
