Description

Provide cost effective hauling of scrap metal, single stream recycling, and nonhazardous waste from the City’s Household Hazardous Waste events. The first dumpster is a 35 cubic yard compactor at the Recycling Center in the DPW Yard at 147 Hampshire Street. This dumpster holds single stream recycling and is hauled and dumped at Casella Recycling, and returned to the same location in the DPW Yard. The second dumpster is a 30 cubic yard open-top dumpster for scrap metal. This dumpster is hauled and dumped at Scrap It in Everett, MA and returned to the same location in the DPW Yard. Lastly, the Contractor shall provide, deliver and pick up one 30 cubic yard dumpster (for non-hazardous trash) w/plastic liner for Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) or other Special Events.
