Bridge replacement and road reconstruction project. A. The Project consists of the construction of the Wright Road Bridge Replacement and associated road re-alignment for Lathrop Township and in Susquehanna County, PA B. The Bidding Information, Contract Information, General Specifications, and Detailed Technical Specifications for the Contracts are bound together as one book entitled in part "Specifications and Contract Documents Manual, for Lathrop Township Supervisors, Susquehanna County, PA.". C. The Drawings for the Contracts are bound together as one set entitled: "Lathrop Township Board of Supervisors, Wright Road Bridge Replacement, Lathrop Township, Susquehanna County, Pa" with sheet numbers and drawing descriptions as indicated on Drawing Sheet No. C-0.00, Index of Drawings D. The intent and meaning of the Contract Documents are that the Contractor will take such action as necessary and/or required to provide labor, supervision, materials, supplies, equipment, power, transportation, facilities, etc., whether temporary or permanent, which are indicated or may be reasonably inferred from each Drawing and each section of these Specifications, all of which are collectively necessary and/or required for the execution of the Work. E. The Contractors' attention is directed to the special requirements relative to project sequencing and scheduling in this section. These requirements along with the construction sequence found in the project drawings have been established to provide for the orderly and timely completion of the Work of this project in the most efficient manner possible. If it is determined that a more efficient way is possible that will reduce the time of construction, it is imperative that the information be communicated to the Engineer in order to produce the more optimum completion of the project. F. The Contractor is advised that information shown on the Drawings or referenced herein relative to the depiction of the existing bridge is shown to the greatest detail possible, but no representatives or warranties are given or implied relative to the accuracy thereof. The data is presented or described to indicate the extent of the existing road and bridge. The Contractor shall consider the existing site conditions in the preparation of its bid and include any contingent costs in those items for which payment will be made. No separate payment will be made for adjustments or modifications in the work due to inaccuracies in the nature or assumption of the existing site, except as may be determined or warranted by the Owner/Engineer. G. The Contractor will note that certain sections or components of the Drawings refer to "New" and/or "Proposed" work. It shall be understood that all such references to "New" or "Proposed" work shall mean work that is included in this project.
