Construction Engineering and Inspection Services for FDOT LAP Projects

The Leon County Board of County Commissioners is seeking civil engineering services relating to the construction engineering and inspection (CEI) of the signage, sidewalk, bike lane and minor drainage improvements for various roadways in Leon County. Pursuant to the Brooks Act and the Consultant’s Competitive Negotiation Act, Title XIX, Florida Statue 287.055, the Leon County (County) Purchasing Office hereby solicits Expression of Interest, Statement of Qualification, and Proposal submittals from professional consulting engineering firms (Engineering Firm or Contractor) who are “Prequalified” by the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) in Work Type 10.1- Roadway Construction Engineering Inspection to perform civil engineering services relating to the construction engineering and inspection (CEI) of the signage, sidewalk, bike lane and minor drainage improvements for various roadways in Leon County. The scope of this project will include the following improvements: - Project A: Construction of the safety improvements on Old Bainbridge Road (CR 361) from SR 63 (US-27) to Gadsden County Line in Leon County, FL. - Project B: Construction of the intersection safety improvements on Old Bainbridge Road at Knots Lane in Leon County, FL. - Project C: Construction of the safety improvements on Old Bainbridge Road (CR 361) from I-10 (SR 8) to Capital Circle NW (SR 263) in Leon County, FL. - Projects D & E: Construction of bike lane addition to Smith Creek Road (CR 375). - Project F: The Big Bend Scenic Byway project proposes to construct a series of covered kiosks, signage, and wayside exhibits at 30 locations within Leon, Franklin, and Wakulla Counties. - Project G: Construction of the safety improvements on Silver Lake Road (CR 260) from Blountstown Hwy (SR-10) to Ice Hockey Lane in Leon County, FL.
