Description

The Work includes the following: 1. Contractor must remove and dispose of the wood framed building and foundation in its entirety from the premises at 28 Arsenal Street no later than March 17, 2020. 2. The contractor is responsible for all demolition and disposal costs. 3. The concrete foundation shall be demolished and removed, and backfilled with suitable & compactable material, the top 18” of backfill shall be MDOT Type D gravel. 4. The removal of the building, foundation and its contents are the responsibility of the contractor. 5. All disturbed areas of the site shall be hay mulched prior to demobilization. 6. Water and Sewer Services shall be plugged/capped 5 feet beyond the limits of the foundation. 7. The heating fuel and the fuel tank in the basement shall be removed and properly disposed of prior to demolition activities. 8. Maintain 2-way traffic in the public way. 9. Contact Dig-Safe and non-member utilities.
