| Description | Project Scope (Base Bid): 1. Low Slope Roofing (Roof Areas A): a. Removal: Remove gutters, edge metal and flashing along roof perimeter, base flashing and bellow at the existing expansion joint curb. Existing modified bitumen membrane system to remain in place. b. Prepare: 1) Remove portions of the existing roof system and insulation system of perlite coverboard and non-tapered rigid insulation identified in ‘Infrared Inspection Report’ as being wet and replace with new followed by a modified bitumen interply membrane patch per unit cost. 2) Prep, patch, clean existing modified bitumen cap sheet roof system for roof recover per manufacture’s recommendations. 3) Raise existing expansion joint curb and sill height along north wall and storefront window system. |
