Convert Mission Planning Cell B-380

This is an awarded contract to SES and is fully funded. The purpose of this project is to design, renovate, and construct add-ons to Building 380 to provide a facility to house the functions of the new Mission Planning Cell (MCP). Design, renovation, and construction of add-ons includes, but not limited to, a complete renovation of the interior of the existing building (10,112 SF) to meet the required functions of the new MPC to include the construction of a new entry vestibule (304 SF) on the north side of the existing building as well as the installation of a new concrete sidewalk to provide access to the new entry for the Base Bid. Bid Option One outlined in the 100% Submittal Design Charrette Report includes the installation of a new hipped, metal roofing overbuild system (12,845 SF) over the top of the existing roof. Bid Option Two includes the construction of a new addition (1,560 SF) on the east end of the existing building to contain an open office area and conference room to allow for future growth of the MPC personnel.
