Ceiling Tile Replacement

Provide and install commercial intermediate grade white steel 15/16” grid system approximately 3 ½ to 4 inches below the existing past up ceiling tiles. Grid system must be installed level and edge boarders shall be equal sizes for each room or area. Provide and install USG Aspen 650 2’ x 2’ white reveal edge ceiling tiles or equivalent. The existing paste up ceiling tiles will be left in place. Outagamie County will remove any ceiling fixtures such as lights, smoke detectors or HVAC grills prior to the ceiling installation and will re-install the fixtures after the installation. The contractor shall provide a detailed schedule at least 2 weeks prior to starting work so the County can coordinate the removal and re-installation of the fixtures throughout the project. Desks and large office furniture will need to be left in offices and work spaces throughout the project. The contractor will need to work around these larger items. The County will put away smaller items so there is clear floor space to work with. The contractor shall be responsible for dust control and project clean up at the end of each shift. As an example, desks and furniture shall be covered with plastic while working within the room and the contractor shall be responsible for vacuuming or cleaning up and dust and debris. Contractor shall be responsible for daily site clear of materials removed and packaging materials. Provide a one year parts and labor warranty as well as any additionalmanufacturer warranties.
