Description | Questions regarding this Request for Qualifications shall be submitted in writing via email to the attention of Tanga Anderson-Solomon, Procurement Manager, at Tanga.Anderson- Solomon@faypwc.com. All questions must be submitted no later than 3:00 p.m., April 14, 2023. Provide Response to Questions PWC Tuesday, April 18, 2023, 3:00 p.m. The Fayetteville Public Works Commission ("PWC") intends to engage in property development for its electric utility system in Cumberland County, North Carolina. In accordance with N.C.G.S. 143- 64.31, PWC is seeking to engage the services of one or more qualified engineering and surveying firm(s) to provide the following services: OBJECTIVE OF THE REQUEST o Undertake geotechnical investigations regarding the physical properties of soil earthworks and foundations including, but not limited to, soil borings, pile testing, load testing, resistivity testing and corrosivity. o Prepare or cause to be prepared Phase I Environmental Site Assessment Reports. o Prepare traditional topographic surveys to determine and verify locations and elevations of existing or proposed improvements, structures, and topographic features. o Prepare ALTA surveys and mapping to include legal descriptions and plat maps for conveyance documents. o Perform photogrammetric control surveys and prepare photogrammetric mapping/orthophotos. o Perform research and survey work related to zoning, public and private land ownership, public and private easements, including but not limited to stormwater and drainage easements, public improvements, construction, and historic information. o Provide wetland delineation and stream identification with mapping as needed. o Work with Federal and State agencies for permitting requirements as needed. o Provide construction staking. o Appear before the Fayetteville, North Carolina City Council and other public officials in connection with zoning permit requests. The work is anticipated to begin May 15, 2023, and continue for at least three (3) years. The Method of Contractor Selection has not been determined at this Time. |
