Description

The Cherokee Nation is accepting bids from interested parties for drywall repairs/patching, and painting of all walls in the JW Sam East Wing. Indian Preference applies to all Cherokee Nation requests for bids or proposals. To receive preference, bidder must be TERO certified through the Cherokee Nation Tribal Employment Rights Office; proof of certification must accompany submittals. Successful bidder will be obligated to comply with Tribal rules and regulations and TERO. All questions or requests for interpretation of the bid must be submitted in written format to Cherokee Nation Acquisition Management. Requests maybe e-mailed to michelle-parsons@cherokee.org. Requests may also be faxed to (918) 458-4493 or (918) 458-7695, Attention: Michelle Parsons. Bids will be accepted from Indian and Non-Indian bidders. Cherokee Nation reserves the right to reject any and all bids. Cherokee Nation reserves the right to determine if a bid meets stated requirements, and to award a purchase order for the bid that is in the best interest of the Cherokee Nation including but not limited to the total cost and capability of the bidder. Bidders are responsible for any and all costs associated with the preparation and submission of bids. To be considered, bids must be received by the specified date and time; any bid received after stipulated date and time will be returned unopened. No bidder may withdraw their bid within 30 days after proposal due date. All laborers and mechanics employed by contractors and subcontractors shall be paid wages at rates not less than those prevailing on projects of character similar in the locality as determined by the Secretary of Labor in accordance with the Davis-Bacon Act. Provide all materials, equipment and manpower necessary to deliver complete project. All work shall comply with current building codes and industry standards. Provide quote for all drywall repairs/patching painting of all walls in the East wing, approximately 12,400 sq. ft. area please field verify. Color to match the west end. Paint shall be Sherwin Williams Emerald or equivalent, (sheen/finish to match west end). Painting shall be to industry standards. Do not interrupt/interfere with work of employees that have occupied the west end. Do not enter or utilize services from occupied space. Protect all surfaces from the drywall and paint scope of work. Remove all debris created from this scope of work. Also provide a final clean at the completion of the project.
