Description | The Emerald Coast Utilities Authority invites your company to submit a bid on item(s) as listed in this bid. Chemical Name and Synonyms: HydroFluosilicic Acid, Fluosilicic Acid, HexaFluosilicic Acid Estimated Maximum Annual Usage: 60,000 Gallons per Year (to be delivered in 275-gallon totes). The 275 gallon totes shall be new and/or in excellent condition and must include caps on the fittings. CAS Number: 16961-83-4 Formula: H2SiF6 Solution: 24% Specific Gravity ranging from 1.19 - 1.22 Concentration: 23% Minimum pH : 1.2 The HydroFluosilicic Acid shall : Meet or exceed all NSF/ANSI Standard 60 criteria. Meet or exceed requirements set forth in American Water Works Association B703. Be clean and free of visible suspended matter. Have a clear water liquid appearance. Questions - Contact Paul R. The renewal request shall be in writing and is subject to the same terms and conditions as set forth in the initial contract. The Emerald Coast Utilities Authority reserves the right to waive informalities in any bid; reject any or all proposals, in whole or in part; re-bid a project, in whole or in part; and to accept a proposal that in its judgment is the lowest and best bid of a responsible bidder. In accepting a bid, ECUA may award a contract based only on the base bid, the base bid plus all alternates, or the base bid plus any alternates which ECUA selects - with all decisions being made based upon what ECUA believes to be the best interests of its ratepayers, in the reasonable exercise of its discretion. ECUA further reserves the right to increase or decrease quantities as may be required to meet the needs of ECUA, at the unit price which was bid. ECUA reserves the right to reject any or all bids and re-advertise. |
