Description

1. This solicitation requests the pricing of demolition services for the property located at 1700 Dr Martin Luther King Jr Drive, Pensacola Florida, including any and all required pre-demolition asbestos abatement as required by local, state, and federal agencies. A. Pricing shall include asbestos abatement as dictated in the Asbestos Survey Report. 2. Contractor shall secure all permits, licenses, etc. per General Condition No. 15 and Instructions To Bidder No. 8. 3. Demolish and remove the structure in its entirety, including all footers, slabs, and piers. 4. Remove and haul away any concrete walkways. 5. Remove and haul away the asphalt parking lot. 6. Demolish and haul away the block retaining wall that surrounds the property. 7. Demolish and haul away the metal signposts and footers associated with them. 8. Remove and haul away any marked trees, including the roots. 9. If sidewalks are damaged through demolition, they will need to be replaced. 10. If a septic tank is discovered on the property, it must be disposed of following the Health Departments Regulations. A. Contractor is responsible for disposal costs. Contractor shall provide copies of landfill receipts and septic tank closeouts with final invoicing. 11. Supply three 16-yard dump trucks of red dirt and spread in the area where the structure was located. 12. Install a standard silt fence on all sides of the property. 13. Contractor shall have 60 calendar days from Notice to Proceed to complete all aspects of this project. 14. Contractor shall be paid a lump sum to include all labor, materials, equipment, fees, etc.
