The City of Hendersonville is requesting Statements of Qualifications from interested firms for engineering, planning, design, and construction services for the Brooklyn Creek stream restoration. In accordance with N.C. General Statute 123-128.1A, the City of Hendersonville, NC ("City") is seeking qualifications statements from qualified design-build teams that are interested in providing stream restoration design, landscape architectural, engineering, and general contracting, and construction services for the Brooklyn Creek stream restoration at the Sullivan Park property 712 Martin Cir, Hendersonville, North Carolina, 28792, PIN # 9569917823. Questions 5 PM (EST) February 28, 2023 Wednesday, May 31, 2023 It is the intent of the City to select the most qualified firm based on demonstrated competence and qualification for requested services. Firms interested in performing these services must exhibit relevant experience with this type of work, as outlined below, and should emphasize both the experience and capability of the personnel who will perform the work. The project schedule is expected to begin with designbuilder selection in March 2023, design through July 2023, and construction beginning in September 2023. It is desired that the project will be completed by the spring of 2024. Any addenda issued will only be posted on the city's website and on the hub website. All proposers are responsible for checking these sites periodically to determine whether any addenda have been issued. Failure to comply with the terms of an addenda may disqualify a proposer from consideration.
