Installation of a Citywide Battery Backup System (BBS) Project

The work shall be done in accordance with Specifications No. 3921, and all appurtenant work as shown on the project plans and specifications, Standard Plans for Public Works Construction (2021 Edition), and the Standard Specifications for Public Works Construction (2021 Edition), including all supplements thereto issued prior to bid opening date.The Engineer's Estimate for this project is in the range of $ 700,000 to $ 800,000 with Bond Requirements as follows: Bid Bond: 10% of Bid Amount Labor and Materials Bond: 100% of Contract Amount Performance Bond: 100% of Contract Amount.This Work must be completed within Forty-Five (45) Working days from the Date of Commencement as established by the City's written Notice to Proceed. The City reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, to award all or any individual part/item of the Bid, and to waive any informalities, irregularities or technical defects in such Bids and determine the lowest responsible Bidder, whichever may be in the best interests of the City. No late Bids will be accepted, nor will any oral, facsimile or electronic Bids be accepted by the City. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
