Description

CLARIFICATION DEADLINE 3/1/2023 4:00 PM The project includes providing equipment, labor and materials on a "Time and Material" basis for the installation of water services for the Warminster Municipal Authority (Authority) during the contract period of 730 calendar days. The hourly rates for equipment and labor shall be provided for the categories included in the Form of Proposal. Bids will be compared based on an 8-hour day. All materials shall be provided "at cost" with the specified mark-up applied. All bids must include all hourly rates to be considered for award by the Authority, at their option, after review of the bid amounts. Bids must be made on the forms furnished by the Authority and must be accompanied by a certified check, bank draft or bid bond issued by a surety company licensed to conduct business in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, in the amount of $1,000, payable to the Authority. The successful bidder will be required to furnish separate bonds with corporate surety issued by companies authorized to do business in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania on the prescribed forms dated the date of the Contract, or separate Federal or Commonwealth chartered lending institution irrevocable letters of credit in a form accepted and approved by the Authority, or separate restrictive or escrow accounts with such lending institutions pursuant to an escrow agreement accepted and approved by the Authority, each equal to $5,000, to secure (a) the faithful performance and maintenance of the Contract; and (b) the prompt payment of materials and labor.
