Description

HVAC Installation: The scope of work includes all mechanical, electrical, fire protection and gas piping needed as per the TFM #01192 Project #2021-09-17-01 approved plans by code for the installation of all HVAC and Fire Protection equipment. Removal/abatement and disposal of any asbestos for the demo of old existing HVAC mechanical equipment and for installation of new mechanical equipment. Demo and disposal of all old or unneeded existing HVAC equipment. If damage new ceiling tiles they will need to be replaced. Building Renovation: Removal/abatement and disposal of asbestos flooring in classrooms and office areas 4,654 square ft. Installation of new VCT Armstrong 52513 M059B in classrooms 4,000 square ft. Installation of LVT Terrain II Timber 20 mil style 0454V color 00572 in office areas, library, and cafeteria 6,574 square ft. Removal and Installation of new 3-inch cove base in all areas of new VCT and LVT installation. Color to be determined. Installation of new ceiling tiles Armstrong 1729A in office areas, classrooms, hallway, Library, restrooms and main entrance areas. Paint the main hallways, bathrooms, front entrance area, library, and cafeteria. Install metal flashing around the exterior soffit areas from the main entrance around to the back of the cafeteria. Remove old gutters and install new gutters on back side of cafeteria and kitchen. Match existing size and color on the back of cafeteria. Approximately 200 ft. Buff and polish existing Terrazzo floor in the hallway. Fire Calk or bring to state/local code any penetrations that exist in current walls. Remove old VCT flooring and install new VCT flooring Armstrong 52513 M059B in the Gym and Gym Lobby. Replace existing lighting with new LED 2x2 22FSEPL/8DU (10331) — 2X2 recessed LED flat panel with adjustable lumens and color temperature or equal specified fixtures in classrooms, hallway, Library, restrooms and main entrance areas. Install new LED LHB3-1354-1-W110 Linear High Bay or equal specified lighting in cafeteria area. Fire Alarm System: The installation of a new fire system. Fire Lite brand. The installation of all new wiring from the new fire panel to all new devices. The installation of all new equipment to include, horns/speakers, strobes, speakers, pull stations, or other needed items to meet code. The new system will not be using ANY existing wiring, existing devices, or existing conduit. Removal of old wiring associated with the old system and removal of all old devices. The installation needs to follow the State of Tennessee approved plans and meet all State and local codes. The work and inspections must be completed by the set completion date. Pass all local and state codes for a K-8 educational building
