**As of January 25, 2023, project was awarded to R&R Excavating, Inc., awarded amount is $1,074,803.66.** 2023 Sanitary Lift Station No. 3, No. 32 & No. 36 Improvements Eng. No. 23-06-01 / Legal No. 06-01-2023 In general, Work consists of the following approximate quantities: 1 LS Demo Existing Sanitary Lift Station No. 3 Including Removal of Existing Electrical Controls, Pumps, Piping, etc. 1 LS Demo Existing Sanitary Lift Station No. 32 Including Removal of Existing Electrical Controls, Pumps, Piping, Valve Vault, etc. 1 LS Demo Existing Sanitary Lift Station No. 36 Including Removal of Existing Electrical Controls, Pumps, Piping, etc. 2 EA Install New 20 HP Submersible Pumps at Lift Station No. 3 2 EA Install New 3 HP Submersible Pumps at Lift Station No. 32 2 EA Install New 3 HP Submersible Pumps at Lift Station No. 36 3 LS Install New Exterior Electrical Controls to Operate Duplex Submersible Pump Stations and all new electrical wir-ing, conduit, etc. 1 LS Install New Precast Concrete Meter Vault, Piping, Valves, Fittings, Mag Meter, etc. 2 LS Install New Piping, Valves, Fittings, etc. 3 LS Temporary Conveyance of Sanitary Sewage 320 LF 6" HDPE, SDR 11 Forcemain Pipe 20 LF 8" DIP, Class 52 Forcemain Pipe 250 SY 6" Concrete Driveway Pavement Together with fittings, miscel-laneous utility improvements, res-toration work, and other related appurtenances. Each bidder must submit with his bid a certified or a cashier's check upon some reputable bank of the State of Minnesota, payable to the City of Moorhead, for at least 5 (five) percent of the total amount of such bid, which check and the amount thereof, shall be forfeited to the City of Moorhead, as liquidated damages if the bidder upon the letting of the contract to him, shall fail to enter into the contract so let. The bidder may submit a bidder's bond written through an insurance agency or cash in the same amount in lieu of a certified check. The successful bidder will be required to furnish contract performance and payment bonds, each in the full amount of the contract. All bidders must be able to submit to the City a sworn statement demonstrating that it is a responsible contractor as defined by Minnesota Statutes, 16C.285 and the failure to provide such a statement will render any pro-posal non-responsive. The Bidders shall submit the Proposal Guarantee electronically by the date and time set for opening Proposals. Bidders shall file an original hard copy of the Proposal Guaranty with the City within 48 hours after the date and time for the opening of Proposals. The Owner reserves the right to retain the deposits of the 3 lowest Bidders for a period not to exceed 30 days after the date and time set for the Opening of Bids. No Bids may be withdrawn for a period of 30 days after the date and time set for the Opening of Bids. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, to waive irregularities and informalities therein, and further reserves the right to award the Contract to the best interests of the Owner. 2022 Sanitary Lift Station Improvements. These improvements include the replacement of electrical controls, duplex submersible pumps, piping, valves, and the addition of a magnetic flow metering valve vault along with miscellaneous site restoration. *Information regarding subcontractor bidding has not been disclosed to the content management team at this time.
