VAV Renovation - North Carolina Correctional Institution for Women Question Deadline 03/24/2023 at 3:00 PM ET GENERAL The specific items and any specifications that the Purchasing Agency is seeking are listed below. Items offered by the Vendor must meet or exceed the listed Specifications to be considered for award. o Work will be completed during normal business hours, Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM ET. o Warranty period shall be one (1) year from the start-up of equipment for labor and materials. o Please reference ATTACHMENT I: CONTROLLER WIRING SCHEMATIC, ATTACHMENT J: MECHANICAL DRAWING and ATTACHMENT K: VAV LOCATIONS MARKED. Line Item #1 Install owner (DAC) provided DDC controllers on 18 VAVs in the Operations Building Owner (Department of Adult Correction (DAC)) will provide: o New Distech VAV controllers with integral actuator and pressure sensor o New Belimo modulating hot water control valves o Discharge air sensor o Space sensor with override pushbutton o Wire, cable, and transformersAny required relays o Niagara integration and graphics o Balancing data Contractor will provide: o Any materials and supplies not specifically listed as supplied by owner (DAC) o Labor to install controllers, relays, temp sensors, airflow pitots and air tubing o Labor to install VAV hot water valves o Insulation material and labor o Labor to install BacNet cable and controller wiring o Labor to install space sensors o Labor to demo existing controls o Any required conduit o Controller programming o As-Built drawings of installation o Detailed list of failed VAV components for repair by owner (DAC) Line Item #2 Install owner (DAC) provided chilled water and hot water control valves on four (4) AHUs serving the Operations Building (total of eight (8) valves) Owner (Department of Adult Correction (DAC)) will provide: o New hot and cold water control valves o Connection to controller Contractor will provide: o Installation and labor o Labor to demo existing valves o Any required fittings or adapters o Insulation material and labor
