| Description | This sale is a third row thinning of 276 acres of planted slash pine and a leave tree marked thinning of 26 acres of natural slash pine on Tiger Bay State Forest in Volusia County, Florida. Timber to be removed from the row thinning portion of the sale includes every third row. Trees in the leave rows are not to be harvested or damaged. Timber to be removed from the natural timber portion of the sale includes all unmarked timber. Marked timber is not to be harvested or damaged. Loading ramps should be kept to a minimum in both size and quantity. Sale boundaries include roads, fire lines, wetlands, or red painted lines. Estimated volumes for harvest include 7,021 tons of pulpwood and 1,870 tons of chip n saw or better. |
