Description

The scope of work shall include the installation of four (4) flow meters, four (4) level transmitters, four (4) pressure transmitter, four (4) power quality monitor, two (2) baffle walls, drainpipe, duct bank, and all incidental works as shown on the drawings and the specifications. The contractor is responsible for providing all labor, machinery, materials & incidentals necessary to complete the project. Bidders for the construction work must submit a satisfactory cashier's or certified check, or bidder's bond, payable without recourse to the order of the City of Laredo, Texas, in an amount not less than five percent (5%). Successful bidder for the construction of the improvements must furnish a satisfactory Performance Bond in the amount of 100% of the total contract price, and a satisfactory Payment Bond in such amount, both duly executed by such bidder as principal and by a corporate surety duly authorized so to act under the laws of the State of Texas. Owner reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, to waiver technicalities, to advertise for new proposals, or to proceed to do the work otherwise when the best interests of the Owner will be thereby promoted.
