Description

The Federal Bureau of Prisons (FBOP) herein issues solicitation 15BFA023B00000008 for the award of a firm-fixed-price construction contract for a project entitled Install Ansul System at the Federal Correctional Complex (FCC) Florence, located in Florence, Colorado. Federal Bureau of Prisons Florence is a federally owned facility located at 5880 State Highway 67 South, Florence, CO 81226. The project consists of the following: Identify existing fire suppression systems and fire detection alarm systems that are in the food service departments. Furnish and install a fire suppression system that protects ducts, plenums, and commercial cooking appliances in all kitchen hood systems. Identify wet sprinkler system zones that are supplying the kitchen hoods and drain these systems. Remove the existing wet system components that are being replaced by the new fire suppression system. Total hoods, sprinkler heads and Molitron stations at each institution that require removal and replacement with new fire suppression systems are as follows: Federal Correctional Institution (FCI) 7 total hoods with a total of 26 sprinkler heads and 5 Molitron stations United State Penitentiary Administration Maximum (ADX) 7 total hoods with a total of 23 sprinkler heads and 5 Molitron stations Access to attachments will require an active https://sam.gov vendor registration (log in). It merely conveys that the estimate/budget lies somewhere within that range.) The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code applicable to this requirement is 238220 (Plumbing, Heating, and Air-Conditioning Contractors) with a corresponding small business size standard of $19 million.
