The Federal Bureau of Prisons (FBOP) herein issues solicitation 15BFA023B00000008 for the award of a firm-fixed-price construction contract for a project entitled Install Ansul System at the Federal Correctional Complex (FCC) Florence, located in Florence, Colorado. The project consists of the following: Identify existing fire suppression systems and fire detection alarm systems that are in the food service departments. Furnish and install a fire suppression system that protects ducts, plenums, and commercial cooking appliances in all kitchen hood systems. Identify wet sprinkler system zones that are supplying the kitchen hoods and drain these systems. Remove the existing wet system components that are being replaced by the new fire suppression system.
