Description | New Multi-Purpose Facility Rachel Carson National Wildlife Refuge 188 Brown Street, Kennebunk, Maine 04043-York County Basis of Award: The solicitation contemplated the award of a Fixed-Price contract on a Lowest Price Technically Acceptable basis, IAW FAR 15.101-2 considering the following factors, listed in descending order of importance: price, technical past performance. In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation 19.502, this project requires is Total Small Business Set-Asides. Pre-Proposal Conference & Site Visit: A pre-bid site visit with the contractor and potential subcontractor(s) and the Government is strongly recommended. The date and time for the site visit: Sept 22, 2022 at 10am ET. Please email Christine_Beauregard@fws.gov by Sept 20 with your intent to attend to the site visit. The appropriate North American Industrial Classification Code (NAICS) for this Acquisition is 236220 Commercial and Institutional Building Construction, with Size Standard of $39.5 Million. Pursuant to Subpart 36.204 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), the estimated magnitude for the entire project is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000 Bonds & Insurance Requirements: Bid Guarantee Clause 53.228-1 SF 25 Performance Bond Clause - FAR 52.228-15 SF 25-A Payment Bond Clause - FAR 52.228-15 Insurance Clauses-FAR 52.228-5 Successful awardee will need to be active in the Sam database (www.Sam.gov) Proposal Submission Method: Electronic Proposal shall be submitted via email at Christine_Beauregard@fws.gov.
