Description

New 2-Story Addition to be constructed at the west end of the existing school with a Middle School main entrance and drop-off area at Monroe Avenue. A new 2-story link will connect the addition to the existing building. The addition will house both Middle and High School grades with Science Labs on the 1st floor and general classrooms and Administration Office Area on the 2nd floor, for a total gross square feet of 21,840 SF. An Athletic Lobby addition will be constructed at the south side of the existing school off the Gymnasiums, with outdoor ramp and stair access. Interior alterations include classrooms on the 2nd floor, converting the existing Auxiliary Gym to a Multi-purpose Room with HVAC replacement, and finishes upgrades at the Auditorium. Reconstruction of surrounding sports fields will be provided. Harding School - Finishes Upgrades at the Auditorium with HVAC replacement. C009 General Contractor/ Additions and Alterations Each bidder must deposit with his Bid, a security in the amount of not less than 10% of the Bid, but in no case to exceed $20,000, in the form of a certified check or standard bid bond and subject to the conditions provided in Section B: "Instructions to Bidders". The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond in the amount of 100% of the contract and satisfactory in form, execution and sufficiency of surety. All bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5- 31 et seq., Affirmative Action Against Discrimination (N.J.A.C. 17:27-1 et seq.), Executive Order 11246 regarding Equal Employment Opportunity, and Chapter 33, Laws of 1977, regarding Disclosure of Partners and Stockholders.
