Description

Work covers the requirements to provide custom heating, ventilating, and air conditioning (HVAC) air filters, as needed. Part of proper maintenance of the air circulation systems requires regular filter changes. The intent of this proposal is to solicit suppliers to provide multiple types and sizes of HVAC filters to SJCCD. 1. Contractor shall be familiar with MERV 9, MERV 11, and MERV 13 filter requirements. 2. Contractor shall be able to provide emergency purchases and arrange delivery within 36 hours. 3. Contractor shall provide filters in a timely manner with a maximum of 10 business days from placement of order to delivery to the specified loading dock. 4. Only authorized SJCCD personnel may approve emergency orders/freight. 5. All required materials to manufacture air filters shall be incorporated in the request and these shall be new and both the workmanship and materials shall be of the best quality. 6. Supplier shall be responsible for any damages to filters during shipping process.
