Colony Court Sewer Improvements

Replace existing 10” & 12” ductile iron and asbestos cement sewer mains with new 12” PVC Sewer along the same alignment. Remove and properly dispose of existing sewer pipe as shown on the drawings and were necessary to install the new sewer. Maintain existing sewer flows through the project area using bypass pumping. Approximately 1,500 LF. Flow monitoring data collected during design is included in the appendix. Replace existing 4” & 6” sewer services with new 6” PVC service lines within the right of way. Approximately 225 LF. Replace existing 6” cast iron water main on Wright Street with new 8” ductile iron water along the same alignment. Remove and properly dispose of existing water pipe as shown on the drawings and were necessary to install the new water. Approximately 550 LF. Provide temporary water to customers affected by the water replacement work. Provide new 1” water services to customers served by existing 6” cast iron water. New service will be from the new 8” water main. Approximately 150 LF. Replace existing bituminous sidewalk with new concrete sidewalk and install new granite curb. Approximately 500 LF. Reconstruction of Wright Street approximately 500 LF.
