Description | As of February 13th, 2023, the project is on hold at this time due to an unanticipated permitting issue. No contracts have been awarded. The Port of Allyn cordially invites your firm to bid on the overwater portion of the restoration of the historic Sargent Oyster House This project requires piles being driven and construction of an overwater platform on which the Oyster House building will be permanently located. Moving the building on to the platform is not part of this contract. This contract simply covers driving the non-creosote pilings and constructing the platform. The location of this project is at the Port of Allyns Waterfront Park on the North Bay of Case inlet. The address is 18560 E. State Route 3 in Allyn. The timeline for this job to be completed is prior to the close of this years Fish Window if at all possible. The contractor will be expected to have all prior mobilization completed prior to that date so work can begin immediately upon the opening day of the fish window. The Port has secured the required Army Corp of Engineers permit for this, a State Hydraulic Permit, and a Mason County Shoreline Permit.
