Replacement of Bridge No. 262 - Moyer Road Bridge Over Perkiomen Creek

This project involves the replacement of the Moyer Road Bridge (County Bridge No. 262) over the East Branch of Perkiomen Creek located at the intersections of Upper Salford, Salford and Franconia Townships in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania. The existing structure is currently closed due to the overall failed condition of the superstructure and has been deemed beyond corrective repair. The proposed structure is a two-span concrete structure with similar typical section, curb to curb width, and out to out width. The proposed superstructure depth, horizontal and vertical geometry will closely follow the existing conditions to minimize hydraulic impacts, construction impacts as well as impacts to the adjacent intersection with Cressman Road.
