Description

The completed Work will provide Owner with various wastewater treatment plant improvements. More specifically, the Project includes, but is not limited to, construction of the following: 1.Rehabilitation of the Cottonwood Creek Lift Station. 2.Rehabilitation of the Influent Trunk Sewer Interceptor with cured-in-place piping and other repair measures as indicated. 3.Rehabilitation of the wastewater treatment plant, including the construction of new facilities and appurtenances, rehabilitation/enhancement of existing facilities and appurtenances, and demolition of existing facilities. Construction of new facilities includes a new influent pump station, new headworks facility, new aeration basins including a new blower facility, a new RAS/WAS sludge pumping station, a new disinfection building with chemical storage, a new non-potable water facility, a new sludge dewatering building, new electrical rooms throughout the plant with electrical distribution, and a new SCADA system throughout the plant. Plant rehabilitation/enhancement items include rehabilitating final clarifiers, rehabilitating the chlorine contact basin, rehabilitating the existing aeration basins into aerated sludge storage tanks, rehabilitation of existing maintenance building, and rehabilitating electrical power distribution. The project includes the demolition of the existing influent pump station, headworks/screening structure, gas chlorine feed building, aerated sludge holding tanks, and miscellaneous additional demolition items throughout the plant (such as but not limited to, yard piping, electrical distribution gear, demolition within the existing blower building, abandonment of the MLSS and RAS Channels at the clarifiers, etc.). The project includes an associated array of piping enhancements and civil/yard enhancements, together with electrical, instrumentation, and control enhancements to develop a complete and functional facility. Also, the project includes measures necessary to maintain operations of the plant throughout the construction process. 4.Construction of a new administration building and demolition of the existing administration building. Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Proposals, including without limitation, nonconforming, nonresponsive, unbalanced, or conditional Proposals. Owner will reject the Proposal of any Offeror that Owner finds, after reasonable inquiry and evaluation, to not be responsible. If Offeror purports to add terms or conditions to its Proposal, takes exception to any provision of the CSP Documents, or attempts to alter the contents of the Contract Documents for purposes of the Proposal, then the Owner will reject the Proposal as nonresponsive; provided that Owner also reserves the right to waive all minor informalities not involving price, time, or changes in the Work. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
