General: Service Disabled Veterans Owned Small Business (SDVOSB). Location is Miami Veterans Affairs Medical Center (MVAMC) for Perimeter Security services. The Government shall not exercise any supervision or control over the contract service providers performing the services herein. Contractor shall be solely accountable for all sub-contractors who, in turn are responsible to the Government. The contractor shall have the technology and know-how to efficiently and effectively manage the project in its entirety. Background: The Bruce W. Carter VA Medical Center (VAMC) is an accredited comprehensive medical provider, providing general medical, surgical, inpatient and outpatient mental health services to an estimated Veteran population of more than 152,000 across Broward, Miami-Dade, and Monroe Counties in southern Florida. The VAMC resides on approximately 26.3 acres which includes employee, visitor parking lots across the at the Fisher House that provides temporary housing for Veteran families.
