New County Jail - SH0200-03001 - Flathead County

A new detention facility located off campus that will relocate the Sheriff department and the detention facility. The new facility will be built to accommodate 260 beds. This would double our current capacity. As of September 2, 2022, this project is currently in the FY 2023-2027 CIP . Funding for this project is allotted in the city's capital improvement plan for construction Fy 2025.
