In accordance w ith FAR 36-204(f) Magnitude of Construction Projects, the price range of this project is anticipated to be betw een $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. This requirement is being solicited 100% small business set-aside. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 238210 and the small business size standard is $16.5M. Funds are not presently available for this acquisition. The Government anticipates funds w ill become available prior to aw ard as this action has been identified on the National Guard priority list. No contract aw ard w ill be made until appropriated funds are made available. Aw ard w ill be made to the responsible bidder w hose bid conforms to the invitation for bids and is most advantageous to the Government considering only price and price related factors Description of the Project: Construction services will consist of furnishing labor, plant, materials, and equipment, and performing work necessary to provide a complete and functional installation of a base wide fire alarm control system. This construction repair project will install addressable fire alarm (FA) control panels with Mass Notification System (MNS) capabilities within the identified buildings as well as replacing all devices and wiring configured for an addressable system. The project will also install a base wide central monitoring system that will consist of a Primary receiver installed within the Security Forces Base Defense Operation Center (BDOC) and the Secondary receiver installed within the Command Post. The central monitoring system will communicate with the building's new FA/MNS systems via Radio Frequency transmissions. 2. Instructions to Bidders: 2.1. You are invited to submit a Bid in response to our Invitation for Bid (IFB) W50S91-22-B-0001, Repair Base Fire Systems, Project Number # JLSQ162020, As a result of this solicitation, the Government intends to award a single Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract to the responsible bidder whose Bid, conforming to the invitation for bids, will be most advantageous to the Government, considering only price. 2.2. This solicitation is set-aside 100% for small businesses. 3. Evaluation for Award: 3.1 Factor: Price. Award will be made to the bidder with the overall lowest total price for CLINs 0001 and 0002. 3.2 There are no additive or deductive bid items. 4. Notice of Pre-Bid Conference and Site Visit: 4.1.
