Description

As of April 5, 203, the project has been awarded. A timeline for construction has not been confirmed. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment and materials necessary and shall perform all the work for the FLAGG CREEK WATER RECLAMATION DISTRICT required by the Reconstruction of Harger Road Lift Station, Contract 2023-01 set forth in the Proposal form attached hereto and made a part hereof as described in the specifications and in accordance with the Invitation to Bid, Instructions to Bidders, Proposal, General Conditions, Insurance, General Specifications, Detailed Specifications and Contract Drawings, all of which are attached hereto and made a part hereof. The work to be performed under this Contract consists of using all necessary labor, supervision, tools, equipment, materials and appurtenances for construction of a new duplex lift station with precast concrete wet well, valve vault, and meter manhole; new electrical and controls in exteriormounted enclosure; demolition of existing duplex lift station; grading; paving; landscaping; and associated mechanical, structural, and electrical work at the Harger Road Lift Station. The work for which bids are to be received generally and briefly consists of a new duplex lift station with precast concrete wet well, valve vault, and meter manhole; new electrical and controls in exteriormounted enclosure; demolition of existing duplex lift station; grading; paving; landscaping; and associated mechanical, structural, and electrical work at the Harger Road Lift Station. The Engineer's prebid estimated cost of the work under this Contract is $1,250,000.00. The proposed work is officially known as the Reconstruction of Harger Road Lift Station, (Contract No. 2023-01). Proposals must be submitted on proposal forms as provided in the Documents. The bid deposit for a proposal shall be made for an amount not less than 10% of the bid amount, in the form of a certified check, a cashier's check, or a bid bond, made payable to the Flagg Creek Water Reclamation District. In addition to the signed and completed proposal and the bid deposit, Bidders must also submit a signed and completed Affidavit on the form included in the Contract documents. Failure to submit these materials may cause the bid to be rejected. The successful Bidder to whom the Contract will be awarded shall sign the Contract, furnish a Performance and Payment Bond in an amount equal to 100% of the TOTAL BID AMOUNT as indicated in the Proposal, and certificates of insurance along with any insurance policies required by the Contract Documents within ten (10) days from the date of the Notice of Award. The amount of the check or bond shall be forfeited to the District if the Bidder neglects or refuses to enter into a Contract or fails to furnish the appropriate Performance and Payment Bond and insurance after his bid has been accepted. The District reserves the right to reject any or all bids that are submitted, or to advertise for new bids. The District reserves the right to defer the acceptance of any bid and the execution of a Contract for a period not to exceed ninety (90) days after the date of opening the bids. *Information regarding subcontractor bidding has not been disclosed to the content management team at this time.
