Description

The Town of Bow is requesting bids for the refurbishment and ADA upgrade of the public bathrooms at the Bow Municipal Building, 10 Grandview Road, Bow, NH. The Town of Bow is requesting proposals for the following renovations at the Municipal Building located at 10 Grandview Rd. All work to be completed in accordance with HL Turner design plan documents Project Number 5265 dated 04/20/2022. 2.1 Fixtures will be supplied by the Town 2.2 All paper and soap dispensers will be removed and reinstalled in accordance to the design plan 2.3 Remove all of the existing plumbing and accessory fixtures and stalls. Install new stalls, toilets and urinals in accordance with manufacture's specifications and in accordance to design layout and measurements; stalls and fixtures will be retained by the Town 2.4 Remove all wall tile, add necessary blocking for new fixtures and replace with new 5/8" tape/compound, primer and paint; paint supplied by the Town A. New FRP in locations indicated 2.5 Add New 5/8" sheetrock to be added to existing ceiling tape/compound, primed and painted; paint supplied by the Town 2.6 Install new floor tile over existing floor, care shall be taken to not interfere with ADA transition from hallway 2.6 Inspect the floor drains and assure proper operation of Men's and Women's drains, add strainer 2.7 Lighting and ventilation; Supplied by the contractor a. New LED fixtures to be installed; surface mounted lights acceptable b. Ventilation Fan to be removed; ducting and hood to remain c. Utilize existing duct work to vent both bathrooms d. New Ceiling or wall exhaust system of proper CFM to be installed e. New occupancy sensor to be installed to control lighting and ventilation f. Costs for these upgrades to be listed separately for rebate submission 2.8 Remove and replace existing doors and replace with those of similar design as other doors in building. 2.9 Window trim to be removed, insulated and replaced. 2.10 To the extent required to access plumbing, remove existing basement ceiling sheetrock and reinstall new sheetrock tape/compound and firestop where needed 3.1 Remove rigid foam in crawlspace in order to access floor framing system and to allow for new wiring and data cable as well as structural improvements 3.2 Add additional 2X12 support (sister joist) as outlined in HL Turner's plan under locations of file cabinets 3.3 Wall Demolition areas marked and outlined on plan 1. Thermostat control will need to be relocated to interior wall as indicated 2. Outlets removed as applicable 3. Half Bathroom to be demolished, fixtures removed and plumbing permanently disconnected 4. Small sink and associated plumbing removed permanently 3.4 Wood floors will require infill patching of a suitable material to match existing floor *Wood can be taken from hallway, and hallway shall be infilled with suitable product (plywood) 3.5 All walls that have been opened will need to be covered with 5/8" sheetrock, mudded and painted as indicated in the design 3.6 New electrical outlets and data cable to be installed in locations specified and occupancy switch as well emergency exit light to be added to file room 3.7 Floor to be sanded and finished with high traffic satin finish General Liability with minimum limit of $1,000,000 Automobile Bodily Injury with minimum limit of $2,000,000 Property Damage $250,000 Worker's Compensation, as required by New Hampshire State statutes. 3.8 Serving counter to be relocated from the Community Development office 3.9 Rigid Foam insulation to be reinstalled and sealed.
