2022 Street, Water Main and Sewer Improvements

President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Schiller Park, Cook County, Illinois, that sealed bid proposals will be received for the following improvement: 2022 STREET, WATER MAIN AND SEWER IMPROVEMENTS The work shall take place on various streets within the corporate limits of Schiller Park, Illinois. The scope of work includes the installation of 8" ductile iron watermain, directionally bored 1" copper services with box, valves, fire hydrants and HMA patching of water trench. The work shall also include the installation of new 8" PVC Sewer, RDMH, Ty'C'CB and Inlets. In addition, the scope of work of the project involves the removal and replacement of partial curb and gutter, sidewalks, and driveway aprons, adjustments, reconstructions of drainage structures, replacement of drainage structures, milling the existing asphalt surface, pavement patching, installation of a hot-mix asphalt binder course, and hot-mix asphalt surface course, spot restoration of the parkways, and all other appurtenant work thereto. The location of the work shall be as follows: Eastwood Avenue West End to Old River Road Water Main, Services and Paving Scott Street Irving Park Road to just North of Sunnyside Avenue -Water Services Judd Avenue Wehrman Avenue to Montrose Avenue Water Main & Services Wehrman Avenue Judd Avenue to Montrose Avenue Water Services Montrose Avenue Wehrman Avenue to Scott Street Water Services Agatite Avenue West End to Scott Street Water Main & Services Sunnyside Avenue West End to Scott Street Water Main & Services Ivanhoe Court Ivanhoe Avenue to North Cul-de-Sac - Sewer & Paving No bidding documents will be issued after 4:00 P.M. on Thursday July 28, 2022. No bid shall be withdrawn after the opening of the Proposals without the consent of the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Schiller Park for a period of sixty (60) days after the scheduled time of bid opening. The Contractor and Subcontractor shall comply with all regulations issued pursuant to Prevailing Wage Act (820 ILCS 130), and other applicable Federal Laws and regulations pertaining to labor standards. The Village of Schiller Park reserves the right to determine the lowest, responsive and responsible bidder, to waive irregularities and to reject any or all bid proposals.
