Steam Facilities Structural Assessment

1.1 The Work shall include a complete assessment of the steam facility structures in Eighty-Five (85) schools located in Zones One (1) thru Four (4). The Work shall be awarded to Offerors and implemented by Zone. The Offeror shall assess the structures for the following: 1. Earthquake damage; 2. Structural stability, potential structural issues and/ or failures to the (1) building envelope, (2) material elements of the building exterior, i.e., walls, doors, windows, fire escapes; 3. Structure facade(s), curtain-wall systems, glazing, exterior sealant, exterior balconies, stairways; 4. Structural component inspection/evaluation shall include foundations, slabs, columns, floor framing system(s), roof framing system(s) for soundness; 5. Crawl space inspection/evaluation shall focus on structural integrity of all supports, walls, openings, slabs for deficiencies. 6. The Contract Period shall be a One (1) Year Contract.
