Description

The scope of work shall include the following: Removal of six (6) overhead garage doors and properly dispose of them. Remove the associated hardware, door tracks, and incidental items. The vendor shall assess the existing track supports at the walkthrough to ensure the current condition is suitable for reuse. Replace six (6) overhead garage doors, to include a section with windows, hardware, and incidental hardware and related components. The current overhead door operators will remain and be reused with the new doors. Replacement doors shall be of a minimum R-value of 16 or better. Doors shall aesthetically look the same or close to the existing ones. Rollers shall be designed for high cycle use. Windows on the doors shall be similar to the existing doors with non-insulated safety glass. The new overhead doors shall come with a final coat of paint. Paint color shall be similar to existing doors. The respondent shall be responsible for all correct measurements. Connect the existing door operators to the existing electrical supply, for a complete and functional “turn-key” complete system. Safety eye sensors shall be installed for safe operation at each door. Work will need to be coordinated with the Facilities Department and Fire Station so operations are not affected. Access to the fire trucks and associated apparatus is to be provided at all times during the course of the contract. Workplace shall be kept clean through the duration of the project. The old overhead doors and relating parts shall be hauled off site.
