Description

Bid Bond 10% Plan (blueprint) None The Village of Winnetka is accepting bids from properly qualified firms to provide all labor, equipment, and materials necessary to the repair and complete maintenance of the Village Hall's clock/bell tower. The Village reserves the right to reject any and all bids. The Village also reserves the right to reduce the work scope due to budgetary constraints. BACKGROUND (PROJECT DESCRIPTION AND SCOPE OF WORK) The Village Hall is located at 510 Green Bay Road. The building encompasses administrative offices. The clock/bell tower shows signs of deterioration due to extreme weather exposure. The Village has chosen to replace two columns and paint all white areas. The scope of the work includes: a. Replace two columns i. All new columns install shall be a consistent match with the existing columns with respect to color, style/type and finish. b. Scrap, sand patch and repairs all loose paint and rotten wood. c. Paint surrounding white areas. d. While repair work is in progress, Contractor shall cover/protect area from the weather (i.e. rain)
