| Description | The Bedford Elementary School Roof Recovering and HVAC Replacement project generally consists of the demolition and replacement of the existing HVAC systems and roofing for the building(s). The project also includes limited electrical upgrades as necessary to accommodate the new mechanical equipment. The mechanical upgrades include the replacement of approximately 35 Fan-Powered VA V boxes, 9 rooftop AC units, a new heating water boiler and pumps, a new domestic water heater, a new BAS system, and propane tanks with associated piping to supply both the heating water boiler and domestic water boiler. The roofing replacement includes the removal and disposal of existing ballast stone, demolition of existing roof membrane and associated edge metal, selective demolition and replacement of wet/damaged insulation, installation of new recovery board, installation of new adhered single ply roof membrane and associated edge metal. |
