New Athens Creative Theatre Facility - Athens - Clarke County

This project involves moving the Athens Creative Theater (ACT) from Quinn Hall to a permanent facility elsewhere in Athens-Clarke County. The new facility will house a performance theatre space, administrative offices for ACT staff members, teaching and studio spaces, and a scene shop with prop storage space. This project would require the purchase of an existing building to provide approximately 10-12,000 square foot of space that accomodates seating for approximately 250 people. This project is in included in the City's or County's FY 2023-2028 Capital Improvement Plan (CIP). As of September 16, 2022, further details regarding design and construction have not been identified. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP).
