Description

This contract will provide native container plants, installation, and maintenance to facilitate the restoration of native vegetation along the Badlands Loop Road disturbed by road repair, construction activities, and invasive species at Badlands National Park (BADL). The road repair and construction is projected to take place from 2020 to 2021 with approximately four acres of disturbance anticipated. Disturbances along the road will be addressed by seeding (not part of this contract) and container plantings. The NPS expects that plants shall be outplanted in either the fall of 2021 or early spring of 2022, depending on the average container plant size, weather, and other logistical considerations.
