Robert W. Coleman Elementary School

The project includes the complete renovation of the existing 2-story building and constructing a new 1-and 2-story addition, all related site work. All current school operations have been relocated off site. The building will remain vacant throughout the duration of the project. The project totals 50,973 SF in size. The remaining existing building contains 45,390 SF, and the additions will total 5,583 SF. Work is anticipated to start in the second quarter of 2020 and be completed within 12 months. The project consists of all major and school-type trades. This project will be constructed in two phases. The 1st Phase is an early release package, specifically for MEP (cut, cap and make safe), Interior demolition, and abatement. Please read the scope of work included in the plan room to get a full understanding of the work in this phase. The 2nd phase will consist of the completion of the demolition and abatement to the exterior portion of the school, as well as the complete renovation and addition to the building.
