Description

The building, known as the Webber Building, is approximately 1,488 square feet and is currently divided into four rental spaces. The parcel number of the lot is 92-21-17-212-022. The contractor shall remove the structure, shrubs, trees, vegetation and root systems between the building and the public sidewalk on the north and east sides of the building and remove the structure, shrubs, trees, vegetation and root systems between the building and the driveway to the west and the building and the parking lot to the south. The contractor shall remove all sub-grade foundation systems/materials and any other items discovered during the demolition process including removing root systems a minimum of 2 feet below finish grade. The contractor shall be responsible for contacting the Utility companies and terminating and capping all utility service to the building. Contractor is responsible for reclamation of any condensing unit refrigerant, disposal of condensing units and compressors proper disposal of roofing and building materials in accordance with State law or City of Urbana ordinances. Any items left on site when demolition begins, becomes the property of the contractor and may dispose or reuse as they see fit. The perimeter area of demolition shall be fenced to prevent access to the demolition site when work is not being undertaken. North Side of building-The contractor shall remove all trees, bushes and vegetation, concrete steps and south to the building and the concrete retaining wall, next to the City sidewalk. West side of building-remove any debris and vegetation next to the curb cut. South side of building-remove any debris and vegetation between building and parking area. East side of building-remove any debris, sidewalk to door and vegetation between building and City sidewalk. The contractor shall use caution when removing debris and root systems so as not to damage City of Urbana Right-of-Way, sidewalks and the adjacent drive. These areas shall remain undisturbed throughout the process.
