Wawarsing Water District Water Treatment Plant and Well Field

The Project generally consists of the following work: The project site is located 300 feet east of the intersection of Institution Road and Route 209 in the Town of Wawarsing, NY. The work for Contract 1 will include construction of the water treatment plant building and systems, including a 1750 square-foot building, piping, treatment and filter systems inside of the building, backup generator and infiltration system outside of the building. The work will also include construction of a 100-foot long 16-foot wide paved road and 1100 square-foot paved parking lot adjacent to the proposed building and a 1200-foot long 12-foot wide gravel road from the building to the well field. The work will include construction of three production wells at the end of the 12-foot wide gravel access road. This project will be awarded as four (4) multiple prime contracts Contract 1 – General Construction Contract 2 – Electrical Construction Contract 3 – Mechanical Construction Contract 4 – Plumbing Construction
