Description | SCOPE OF DESIGN A/E Part One Services (also known as Design Phase) for this design project includes site visits, field investigations, conducting studies and user interviews to prepare design drawings, specifications and cost estimates for all facets of work. This work is to include all trade disciplines to facilitate the construction project to upgrade the facilities electrical and IT closets to allow for the new Electronic Health Record Modernization (EHRM) system. This project shall include, but is not limited to, upgrading the facilities fiber optic cabling (herein referred to as fiber ) throughout the Tomah campus buildings into each IT closet. Also provide two designs for Data Centers, one in B32 and the other in B408. Provide redundant fiber runs throughout the facility to each IT closet. Provide a new main redundant fiber line coming into the buildings from the network provider point. This is for approximately 25 relocated IT closet spaces and approximately 6 expanded IT closets. Review HVAC requirements, and Physical Security upgrades. Install IT patch panels and new electrical outlets throughout the facility, provide additional outlets in each IT closet, data cables, server room upgrade, inspect grounding and bonding, HVAC systems, relocate limited number of IT closets, remake existing IT closet as needed, removal of abandoned cabling, Removing abandoned equipment, and upgrade facility power distribution as required. Add UPS backup power as required per the SOW. The A-E shall be professionally licensed in in any state in the United States. |
