Description

Furnishing of all labor, equipment, and materials and performance of all work necessary for managing and constructing a rail-loop track expansion to service a new soybean processing plant with a connection to the BNSF Main Line in the SEPA complex near the town of Spiritwood, North Dakota Checks to be payable AECOM Technical Services, Inc. No refunds will be made. Additionally, one set of the Contract Documents, including Drawings and Specifications will be available for viewing at the Jamestown Stutsman Development Corporation office during normal business hours. Technical questions regarding the project, or requests for clarification, should be directed in writing to Bob Paetsch at AECOM, e-mail bob.paetsch@aecom.com and must be received by 4:00 p.m., on November 19, 2022. In a separate sealed envelope that is attached to the outside of the bid envelope, there shall be a copy of the bidder's North Dakota Class A Contractor's License and a 5% Bid Bond Security. All bids are to be submitted on the basis of cash payment for the work and materials. All pricing shall remain valid for a minimum period of 120 days after receipt of bids. SEPA reserves the right to hold all bids sixty (60) days after the date set for the opening thereof, to reject any and all bids and to waive minor defects. Work shall commence on the Project within ten (10) calendar days of being issued a "Notice to Proceed". Work, when started, shall proceed in continuous operation from start to finish. Substantial completion of Work shall occur on or before September 15, 2023. Final completion date shall be on or before October 1, 2023. The most competitive and qualified bidder will be announced after the SEPA Bid Evaluation Committee has thoroughly evaluated all bids and made their determination for award. Each bidder is required to submit a First-Tier Subcontractor Disclosure Form as a part of the bid package. SEPA will reject a bid if the bidder fails to submit the required disclosure form. SEPA is not responsible if delivery of any bids are delayed.
